Happy 90th Birthday to Fred Alteen Sr.

The children and grandchildren of Fred Alteen Sr. are happy and honoured to be able to share in the special occasion of his 90th birthday today. Best wishes and love from all! He will be celebrating this milestone at an open house for family and friends on Sunday, February 17th, from 2-4 pm in the Tudor Room of the Glynmill Inn.

I certainly want to wish a very happy birthday to my good friend and Corner Brook icon Fred Alteen. I recently moved to Halifax but have very vivid and pleasant memories of our days together in the Kinsmen Club------ and Fred's frquent pleas ever since to join him and our old buddies in the K-40's. His community spirit and contributions to it and the Legion are certainly laudable.
