ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The food and entertainment scene in the St. John’s region will have a new player later this spring.
Construction on Cineplex’s The Rec Room — a 30,000 square foot facility officer dining, living entertainment, gaming and feature attractions — is nearing completion and should open for business in late April or early May.
It’s the seventh such location in Canada and the first in Atlantic Canada.
This week Cineplex invited The Telegram inside for a tour of the space and to talk about the amenities and services that will be offered within.
NOTE: While the video indicates that the Avalon Mall Rec Room will contain multiple private dining rooms — as per the information provided in the Cineplex press package — the location features just one private dining area.
