Considering real estate is a business that promotes property ownership, it was high time ReMax Realty Professionals found its own home in Corner Brook.
That was the goal of western Newfoundland territory broker/owner Carol Anstey and her husband Dwayne ever since they took over the business four years ago.
For the past 25 years, the Corner Brook office of Re/Max had been located in leased space at the Millbrook Mall.
About two months ago, the company moved into its new location at 47 Park St., a building ReMax has purchased and completely renovated to suit its own purposes.
“We’re always encouraging people to pay on their own investment and not someone else’s,” said Anstey, who said the company had been waiting for just the right property to buy and believes it has found the right one.
The new building features 17 offices and a board room, along with a welcoming lobby for visiting clients.
ReMax will be hosting invited guests at an official opening of its new location Friday from 4-6 p.m.
