Eight inducted into Order of Newfoundland and Labrador

In a Wednesday afternoon ceremony at Government House and presided over by Frank Fagan, Lt.-Gov. of Newfoundland and Labrador eight prominent Newfoundland and Labradorians were inducted into them the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Established in 2001, the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador is the province’s highest civilian honour designed to acknowledge current or former Newfoundland and Labrador residents for “conspicuous achievements” in any field.
