ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Comments, photos and condolences are flooding in from people around the world expressing sympathy about his passing of Kaiden Little.
The six-year-old from Conception Bay South, who battled neuroblastoma for three years, passed away Monday afternoon surrounded by family and friends.
A Facebook post by his family on the page Kaiden’s Janeway stated, “We are devastated and hurting from the pain of missing our boy. He passed peacefully and comfortably. He fought like a true Super Hero right to the end and used his Star Wars force to show all how brave he is and how much love he had to give.”
Kaiden — who said he wanted to be a police officer when he grew up — touched many people’s hearts and was known for his spirit and love of Star Wars.
Kaiden was bright, courageous & kind. He will be sadly missed by @RNC_PoliceNL. Thoughts and prayers to Danielle, Mike, Alexander & family— Joe Boland (@ChiefJoeBoland) January 15, 2019
When RCMP officer Bryan Vaughan tweeted about Kaiden’s passing Monday, Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker, replied:
So sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Kaiden... The Force will be with him from here to eternity! ❤️-mh— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) January 15, 2019
