Junction Trail Blazers snowmobile group will be giving the snowmobile trails in the Deer Lake region some extra attention now that one of its new trail groomers is ready to go.
Earlier this week, the groomer was being taken out of the garage after having signage attached and a few modifications made to the brush guard, so it could fit through the tunnel under the Trans-Canada Highway just outside town.
A second groomer was still in the garage getting signs, but both were on the trails for the first time on Wednesday. The groomers were obtained through Newfoundland and Labrador Snowmobile Federation.
