There were lots of people out with snow blowers and shovels this morning after an overnight dumping of deep snow in Western Newfoundland.
Robin Hiscock, a weather observer at Stephenville airport, said a total accumulation of 15.4 cm of snow was recorded overnight.
This was followed by a short mild with rain that made the snow heavy and harder to handle with shovels and snow blowers.
