A new view in Baie Verte

There is a new view on Main Street in Baie Verte — one that nobody would have liked to see.

A fire destroyed the Baie Verte Green Depot Jan. 8, levelling a building that has stood on the corner of the busy street for years.

The property was cleared earlier this week, and it's nothingness overlooking the bay now stands out oddly.

The recycling facility has been opened in a new location — at the back of the building at 309-311 Highway 410 (housing Subway).
