BAY ROBERTS, N.L. — Bay Roberts RCMP is investigating an overnight home invasion in the Conception Bay North community.
According to a news release, the incident was reported in the early hours of Friday, Feb. 22. Police said unlawful entry was gained while the homeowners were inside. A theft reportedly occurred, though the news release did not mention what specifically was taken. No one was injured, according to police.
Police so far suspect this was not a random incident, leaving the RCMP to believe there is no concern for public safety. The RCMP’s general investigations unit is presently handling the case.
