Millions of Canadians and Americans tuned into Thursday’s NBA championship game between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors.

And millions turned off Pornhub, which offers a very different kind of action, the adult website says.

“Traffic in Toronto dropped a massive 47% during the final match,” Pornhub reports, adding “traffic in the San Francisco Bay area was also down an impressive 18% at the end of the game.”

However, perhaps Warriors fans, feeling low from the finals loss and needing something to give them a boost, returned to the popular website in droves after the game ended. Pornhub reported its San Francisco traffic increased to 8% above average after Kawhi Leonard hit three free throws in the final moment of the game to seal the deal on the Raps’ first franchise NBA championship.

As Raptors fans spilled onto the streets of Toronto to celebrate, Pornhub’s traffic sagged 7% but surged 24% after 1 a.m. as the spontaneous street party wound down. The final game also captured the attention of the rest of Canada. Pornhub reported its traffic nationally dipped 31% near the end of the game, then rebounded by 11% by 1 a.m.

The Raps beat the Warriors 114 to 110 to capture their first-ever championship cup.

Pornhub’s traffic during Game 6 of the NBA Finals is consistent with trends it has seen during other major live sporting events, the website reported.
