A two-car collision in Mount Pearl Friday night sent one of the cars crashing into a strip mall store and left both vehicles with extensive damage.

The crash happened at the entrance to the Mount Pearl Plaza on Commonwealth Avenue at about 10 p.m.

A brick wall at the corner of the Great Canadian Dollar Store in the plaza was damaged.

There were no serious injuries.
