Gas will cost you up to 3.4 cents more per litre (cpl) at the pumps today. The Public Utilities Board has also set increases for diesel, up by 2.5 cents cpl.

Furnace oil will increase by 2.05 cpl and stove oil will go up by 2.29 cpl.

Propane heating fuel is decreasing by 7.0 cpl.

These increases are effective in all areas of the province except where maximum price adjustments have been suspended for the winter months.

Heavy machinery has returned to Charlotte Street for a third year as the final phase of the downtown road's revitalization begins this week.
