ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The price of gas across Newfoundland and Labrador took a mighty cut Thursday morning.

All type of gasoline motor fuel fell in price by up to 5.3 cents per litre (CPL). On the Avalon Peninsula, that means the most expensive litre of regular unleaded gas is $1.245.

All other fuel prices regulated by the Public Utilities Board also fell in price.

Diesel drop 4.9 cpl; furnace oil and stove oil heating fuel dipped by 4.22 cpl; and propane tumbled 2.5 cpl.

The next scheduled update is Thursday, June 13.
