GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. — The RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor have seized a quantity of cocaine and money as a result of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in the region.

On Feb. 27, Mark Lloyd Mitchell, a 35-year-old man from Grand Falls-Windsor, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. Mitchell is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Grand Falls-Windsor at a later date.

The investigation is continuing and it is expected that more charges will be laid.
