Andre Lecuyer is seen in the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador in Corner Brook on Wednesday. Lecuyer, 38, is charged with a 2014 home invasion. Following a three-day Charter application that wrapped up with final summations by the Crown and counsel for Lecuyer, Justice George Murphy reserved his decision on whether or not certain evidence can be excluded at trial. He’ll render that decision on March 22. Lecuyer, who is now living in Halifax, is scheduled to go on trial in April on charges of unlawful confinement, armed robbery, having his face masked with the intent to commit and indictable offence and break and enter.
