A Cape St. George couple lost their home to a fire on Monday evening.
Local firefighters responded to the 7:30 p.m. call.
High winds made fighting the fire difficult but the local department and two others who attended eventually got the fire under control.
It's the third fire in the community in the past month, along with another in Ship Cove, all on the Port au Port Peninsula.
In early October, a home burned to the ground in Cape St. George, then on a mid-October weekend a large shed/workshop was destroyed in the same town and a home burnt in Ship Cove.
