Joining celebrations across the province and Canada, the people of Badger held their own festivities for National Indigenous Peopls Day on June 21.
The day started with an opening ceremony and flag raising at the ceremonial garden in Badger. While people attending got a bit wet with the rain that fell, it couldn't dampen their spirits.
From there, the celebrations continuted at nearby Avoca Collegiate where students got a taste of the big drum and some lunch.
