While no criminal charges were laid, a 77-year-old Stephenville man was issued a seven-day driving suspension in the early morning hours of Saturday.
According to a prepared release from the Bay St. George RCMP, it was about 4:50 a.m. that day police received a report of a possible impaired driver on Main Street in Stephenville.
Police attended and gave the man a breath test resulting in the suspension and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
