Brian Young, a 43-year-old Stephenville man, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to theft and breach of court order in Stephenville Provincial Court today.
Members of the Bay St. George RCMP responded to a call of shoplifting at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Main Street in Stephenville on Wednesday afternoon.
When they arrived officers reviewed the store’s security footage and were able to identify Young, arrest him and make the charges.
