Central Health is holding its annual general meeting tomorrow nightin Harbour Breton.
Scheduled to run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Harbour Breton Lions Club, the meeting is open to the public and will see the board of trustees and the senior management team present on hte 2018-2019 fiscal year.
“Our goal at Central Health is to provide the people of Central Newfoundland with the best health care possible," said Central Health president Andrée Robichaud.
Included presentations will be the president and CEO's report, the report from the board of trustees chair, a review of the strategic planning process for 2020-2023 and the reappointment of auditors. During this time, the 2018-2019 annual report will be made public and copies will be made available.
"“It’s really important that members of the Board of Trustees have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders across the Central regio," said Central Health board of trustees chair Don Sturge via a release. "We want to ensure that we remain open and transparent about the work we are doing at the Board and invite anyone living in the area to please come down and join us at the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday."
