CORNER BROOK, N.L. — A Corner Brook woman got pulled over for a busted light and ended up with a mandatory court appearance Thursday afternoon.

After stopping the vehicle, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officer determined that the 27-year-old woman was driving while her license was suspended and that she owes more than $10,000 outstanding fines.

Police impounded her vehicle, issued her another fine and, because of the high amount owing on previous infractions, ordered her to answer to appear before a provincial court judge.
