The provincial government will be holding a ground-breaking ceremony at the site of the new acute care hospital in Corner Brook Friday.
Premier Dwight Ball and other special guests will be on hand for the ceremonial event at the construction site off the Lewin Parkway, which will take place at 11 a.m.

The province announced in late June that Corner Brook Health Partnership, the same consortium building the adjacent long-term care component of the medical complex, will also be building the hospital component of the project.
