ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A 44-year-old man was arrested in St. John’s last night after fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle hit and run accident on Leslie Street.

The driver was located and stopped by Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers on Waterford Bridge Rd.

In provincial court today, he will face charges of refusing to perform a breathalyzer test, leaving the scene of an accident, the dangerous operation of a vehicle and breaching a court order.
