DEER LAKE, N.L. — A 46-year-old Howley man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a dump truck on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

The accident occurred at about 4:40 p.m. on Route 401 near Howley.

The man died at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the dump truck were not injured.

The accident is being investigated by the Deer Lake Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the cause has not been determined.
