The Newfoundland and Labrador English School Board bus depot on O’Connell Drive in Corner Brook has been demolished and site cleanup is ongoing to make way for the new depot announced in the 2018 provincial government budget.
The budget set aside $900,000 for a new building to replace the old one, which experienced a fire in May 2016.
No one from the school board was available Thursday for an interview for details on the new structure or how school bus maintenance and parking is currently being handled.
