Noel’s Pond shoulder repairs

While heavy rains overnight Thursday and into Friday caused flooding once again in the community of Noel’s Pond, resulting in the closure of a section of Route 460 and traffic having to be re-routed through Stephenville Crossing, the water had receded early in the afternoon. A contractor was busy in the area carrying out repairs to the shoulder of the road that had been paved in the summer of 2018. FRANK GALE/ THE WESTERN STAR
