Corner Brook work crews were busy on Countyr Road cleaing an underground valve.
The work was being done in preparation for plans to repair a water main break in the area scheduled for Tuesday.
Today’s job will result in a water outage for six to eight hours that will affect Country Road, #’s 4-122, excluding 121; Carmen Avenue, #’s 49-81; Bliss Street, #’s 6,9, & 12; Notre Dame Street, #’s 4, 6, 8, & 10; Coronation Street; Sanspeck Road; and Atlantic Avenue.
Country Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Forestside Street to the intersection of Happy Valley Road; Walbournes Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Country Road to the intersection of O’Connell Drive; and Oakes Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Country Road to the intersection of Green Garden Road.
