ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Police in St. John’s want the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a recent armed robbery at a restaurant in St. John’s.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the armed man — described as tall with a slim build, wearing a grey hooded sweater and pyjama pants — entered the centre city eating establishment just before midnight on April 24, demanded money and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrive.

The man had partially covered his face while inside the restaurant.

The RNC’s is asking that if anyone can identify the suspect, please contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website.
