The term "Newfie" sparked outrage again last week after it was used in a tweet promoting an episode of Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" that was filmed in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The celebrity chef's show aired on CNN Sunday night and was met with overwhelming response for its portrayal of the province's scenary, culture and cuisine.

Prior to airing, the "Parts Unknown" Twitter account apologized for using the word "Newfie." to promo the show. On May 10, it tweeted, "We regret our use of the word 'Newfie' to describe the people of Newfoundland. We apologize for any offense and will stick to Newfoundlanders going forward."

But it's only a matter of time before the "Newfie" debate flares up again, which prompted today's poll.
