The RCMP has charged 56-year-old Neila Blanchard of Parsons Pond with a fall fatal pedestrian-motor vehicle collision that occurred in Cow Head this past fall.
On Sept. 11, Rocky Harbour RCMP responded to a collision in the community. A male teenager was on his way to school when he was struck by a vehicle, police say. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
This week Blanchard was arrested by the RCMP Corner Brook serious crime unit and she is facing a charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and was scheduled to appear in provincial court today.
