Stephenville council approves seven finance items

STEPHENVILLE, N.L. — The Stephenville town council approved seven finance items at its regular general meeting on Thursday at noon hour.

Accounts payable listing – April 2019 – $145,216.63.
People of the Dawn Indigenous Friendship Centre – a grant of $800 for the Sweetgrass Festival taking place Aug. 23-25.
Children’s Wish Foundation – grant of $100 toward the 24^th Annual “Run the Rock.”
Property tax write offs – $2,684.68.
Remission of tax – $5,210.87 and Refunding of tax – $2,044.87.
Approval to Sign Ultimate Recipient Gas Tax Agreement 2019-2024 – $1,487,492.
Amendment of Gas Tax Funding Projects – schedule listed below.
