Stephenville grants name change requests by Koko Entertainment Corp.

STEPHENVILLE, N.L. — STEPHENVILLE, N.L. — The Stephenville town council approved four items under permits and municipal plan at its regular general meeting Oct. 17.
- Bourgeois Garage (Brown Derby) was approved to install a front door and install a heat pump in the building at 128 Main Street.
- The Community Education Network was permitted to occupy space in the building at 1 Bruce Boulevard (Stephenville High School)
- The Koko Entertainment Corp. was given the okay to change the legal name of the existing business at 98 Main Street from Redwood Lounge to The Koko Entertainment Corp.
- The Koko Entertainment Corp. was also approved to change the legal name of the existing business at 217 Main Street from HGL Entertainment to The Koko Entertainment Corp.
Deputy Mayor Susan Fowlow said she believes both clubs will continue to operate under their current names.
