IRISHTOWN-SUMMERSIDE, N.L. — Residents of Irishtown-Summerside will have two candidates to choose from when they go to the polls later this month.

Jeff Hackett and Noah Penney have put their names forward to run in a byelection to fill a vacant spot on the town’s council.

The seat was vacated by Christina Pye about three months ago and nominations were held on Nov. 5.

The byelection will be held on Nov. 26.
