Fanika Rostas, 22, of Montreal, Que. and Ludovic Sava, 21 of North York, Ont. were arrested Saturday, along with a 16-year-old boy from Quebec, at the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal in Port aux Basques.
The three were identified in surveillance video as suspects in the theft alleged to have taken place last Thursday.
All three are also charged with an alleged theft at a Telus store in Grand Falls-Windsor theft, while Sava has been charged with theft from Wal-Mart in Mount Pearl. The offence date for the thefts in central and eastern Newfoundland is last Friday.
The teenager was released from custody after an appearance in provincial court in Corner Brook Monday and had his matters set over until youth court June 21.
Rostas and Sava also appeared Monday, but were remanded into custody, pending more legal discussions.
They were back in court Tuesday. Defence lawyer Robby Ash, who had acted as an agent in representing them Monday, informed Judge Kymil Howe he would be withdrawing from representing them any further.
Duty counsel lawyer John Hartery, represented them after Ash was excused fro the case, then asked for the bail hearing Friday afternoon.
