The RNC issued a press release on Wednesday evening to say that several vehicles in the Sunnyslope area of Corner Brook were targeted by thieves earlier this week.

Complaints were received from vehicle owners on Marshall Cresent, Hann Cresent, Tuma Avenue, Sunnyslope Drive and Shamrock Crescent.

The thefts occurred on Tuesday night and into the early morning hours of Wednesday. All of the vehicles involved were unlocked.

The RNC has yet to identify any suspects in the incidents and is asking anyone with information to contact the detachment at 637-4100.

Meanwhile, the Corner Brook RCMP said in a press release on Thursday that there have been multiple thefts from vehicles in Steady Brook, Gillams and Massey Drive over the past several weeks.
