Temporary visitor restrictions are taking place at Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing.
These visitor restrictions are part of a series of infection control measures in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases common in health care facilities. The measures are designed to help keep clients, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.
Western Health said immediate family members of residents should call the unit for direction about visitation:

To prevent the spread of infection the public is asked to wash hands when entering or leaving any of Western Health’s facilities.
