Kryston Munnings, an international student from Belize studying at Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook, has been appointed as the Grenfell Campus Student Union representative on Memorial University’s Board of Regents.
Munnings appointment was announced Friday by Al Hawkins, minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour.
Other appointments in the province’s post-secondary education system include Carl Barrett, of Corner Brook, director of operations at Academy Canada, as the owner/operator representative to the Private Training Corporation’s Board of Directors.
Peter Adams and Brenda Kelleher-Flight of St. John’s have been appointed as general representatives to the College of the North Atlantic’s Board of Governors.
Adams is a master mariner and managing director of Desgagnes Atlantik. Kelleher-Flight is a consultant/coach with GDP Consulting Inc.
