A 19-year-old man who was driving a car involved in a single vehicle accident in West Bay early today was transported to Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital with severe injuries.

Bay St. George RCMP received a report of the accident on Route 463 at about 5:30 a.m. and attended the scene, where the driver had been ejected from the vehicle.

Const. Ken LaSaga said the man was reported to be still at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital this afternoon.

An investigation into the accident continues and police didn’t have anything other details on it.
