GRAND BANK, N.L.— Clayton Organ was in provincial court in Grand Bank to hear a decision on bail on Tuesday, July 10.
Organ, 57, was charged with aggravated assault and uttering a death threat following a physical altercation that occurred in Marystown on July 5, that resulted in a 59-year-old man from Marystown being airlifted to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s.
Organ was released on recognizances with a number of conditions including that he not possess or consume alcohol, or enter a licensed drinking establishment; do not possess or consume and/or traffic any illegal drug or substance; he must remain in his residence in St. Albans between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Organ is also to have no contact direct or indirect with the victim or witnesses involved in the matter.
Organ will return to court the morning of Aug. 22.
