CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District has confirmed for The Western Star that there has been a change in leadership at its Western Regional Office.

The school district’s communications manager Cheryl Gullage said effective Monday, March 4, Donna Miller-Fry is no longer serving as the Assistant Director of Education - Programs (Western Region).

Gullage also confirmed, by e-mail, that Miller-Fry is no longer an employee of the District and that Bronson Collins, Assistant Director of Education - Programs (Central Region) will assume her duties, on an acting basis, until a permanent replacement is found.

When asked about specifics of the change, Gullage noted “that in accordance with District policy and provincial privacy legislation, the District will not be providing further comment.”

When contacted for comment, Miller-Fry said she is not in a position to be able to speak about the topic at this time.
