Corner Brook emergency crews are currently on scene of a commercial building fire in Pasadena.
Firefighters have the fire under control, but in a statement released by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Corner Brook, “due to the building’s contents, toxic smoke is being released.”
Residents in the area of Church Street and West End Industrial Park are being evacuated from their homes.
Police are asking the public to stay away from the area for their own safety.
