HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, N.L. – Premier Dwight Ball will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay for two days next week to attend a pair of events and to make another two funding announcements.
Ball will first participate in a sod-turning ceremony to mark the start of construction of the new Labrador Wellness Centre on Monday morning, June 25, and from there will make a public infrastructure funding announcement at Kinsmen Park.
On Tuesday, June 26 the premier will announce investments for skilled training and education at the College of the North Atlantic campus. He will then speak at the welcome brunch for the 2018 Expo Labrador at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Transportation and Works Minister Steve Crocker, Children, Seniors and Social Development Minister Lisa Dempster, Labrador MP Yvonne Jones, Torngat Mountains MHA Randy Edmunds, Lake Melville MHA Perry Trimper and Labrador West MHA Graham Letto will be joining Ball for the events.
