BONAVISTA, N.L. — Bonavista police are informing the public to refrain from using ATVs on the roadways of local communities.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, April 16, Bonavista RCMP say they observed an ATV driving on a road in Bonavista at about 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.

A 16-year-old driver from Catalina was issued a ticket for operating the ATV on a roadway.

The RCMP reminds users of the provincial regulations governing the safe operation of off-road vehicles.
