CLARENVILLE, N.L. — The Farm and Market in Clarenville opens for its third season on Saturday, June 22.
The not-for-profit community enterprise opened a new building last year and hosted close to 200 different vendors from June through December 2018.
Each Saturday the market saw up to 1,800 customers come through its doors and partake in a selection of handcrafted items, food, crafts and more that are unique to the region.
On Saturday, agricultural expert Ross Traverse will be hosting the second annual Farmers Day.
He will be leading sessions on how to plant, grow and harvest in Newfoundland.
