A three-vehicle collision in St. John’s sent one person to hospital Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened on Empire Avenue at Winchester Street at about 1 p.m. and left the three cars with moderate damage. Traffic was slowed in the area for about thirty minutes until the cars could be moved.
The injuries were not thought to be serious.
A second collision about an hour later on Kings Bridge Road at a crosswalk near the Dominion store damaged two vehicles but there didn’t appear to be any serious injuries. Both cars were moderately damaged.
Both incidents are under investigation.
