TRURO, N.S. — President's Choice brand 'sensitive to lactose' milk-based powdered infant formula has been recalled due to possible Cronobacter contamination.

Affected products are in 638-gram packages with the UPC code 0 60383 12994 1 and expiry date 2020 NO 05. This formula should be returned to the store where it was purchased or disposed of safely.

Food contaminated with Cronobacter might not look or smell spoiled but can still cause illness. Cronobacter is not commonly linked to human illness, but in rare cases it can cause serious or fatal infections.
