ST. ANTHONY, N.L. — ST. ANTHONY, N.L. – Labrador-Grenfell Health hosted its annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion in St. Anthony on Thursday, June 27.
The health authority showed its appreciation to some 70 volunteers at the event.
Following the meal, various organizations presented donations to the Grenfell Foundation with proceeds to be used to purchase essential hospital equipment at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony.
The hospital auxiliary donated $16,000 while St. Anthony Basin Resources Inc. donated $5,000 and the Royal Canadian Legion contributed $500.
