There were no serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident on the Outer Ring road in St. John’s Sunday evening.

The incident happened when it appears the driver of a car lost control of the vehicle in the eastbound lane and spun into the median between Portugal Cove Road and Torbay Road.

The driver was treated on scene by Eastern Health paramedics.

Traffic was slowed through the area as emergency personnel dealt with the scene.
