FERRYLAND, N.L. — The search for Raymond Halleran, last seen in January of 2018, resumes in the St. Vincent's area this weekend.

The RCMP says area residents may notice activity and the presence of officers and ground search and rescue personnel.

This search follows other efforts throughout the investigation, including searches by Ferryland Detachment police, the Special Operations Support Team and Police Dog Services, in addition to searches by local residents since Jan. 12, 2018 when he was last seen at his home.

Halleran is described as a caucasian man, standing five-feet-nine-inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. He has grey eyes and brown hair that may be dyed purple. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, khaki shoes and a camo jacket and hat. He was carrying a black duffle bag.

RCMP asks that anyone with information on his location or the circumstances of his disappearance to please call Ferryland RCMP at 709-432-2440.
