Springdale man facing drug possession and trafficking charges

SPRINGDALE, N.L.

A police investigation that started with the discovery of a quantity of drugs in a wooded area three months ago has resulted in drug and drug trafficking charges against a 22-year old Springdale Man.

According to an RCMP release, the man was officially charged with possession and trafficking in cocaine and ecstasy on Monday, Jan. 7. The investigation began in October 2018.

The man is scheduled to appear in court in Grand Falls-Windsor in March.

The investigation is continuing.
